GERMANY DOG WITH THE LONGEST YEARS IN THE WORLD

2004
» Description

With an official ear length of 33.2 centimetres (on either side) the basset Jack not only outplays every rabbit but also secures a place in the newest Guinness Book of Records. The picture was taken after a helper lifted the ears and then dropped them, in Fulda, Germany, Thursday 09 September 2004. The two-year-old basset now has an entry as 'the dog with the longest ears in the world' in the Guiness Book. EPA/Boris Roessler
